Mathias has finished the music for Thom Vanderbeken's documentary Being Merry. It focuses on Mary, a Palestinian immigrant. She tells her life story and shares her views on the situation in Palestine. Television rights are currently under negotiation with Lichtpunt, who might air the documentary on the Canvas-channel later this year.
Thom Vander Beken is better known for his documentay Ik Droomde Ons (I Dreamed Us), which won the Viewpoint/Sabam-award in 2003. He's working on a new film called Alice, which will be scored by Mathias as well. |
